Year 12 students on Wednesday 21 October participated in the annual ‘Enterprise Day’, competing in teams to accumulate points throughout the day and win a coveted trophy.
Students were tasked with designing a unique product and accompanying business model by completing a number of tasks throughout the day.
The teams were assisted by ‘facilitators’ with a wide range of business backgrounds and expertise. The 13 facilitators kindly took time out of their busy schedules to help with this event.
This event is hugely dependent on students engaging positively with the tasks and as ever, and Year 12 was up to the challenge. Students were hugely impressive in the way they cooperated as part of a team and demonstrated the discipline to work well independently and often, unsupervised.
Robert Cusworth, a facilitator at this event for the 6th consecutive year said, 'in the 6 years that I have assisted with this event, this group of students have been by far the most engaged and hardest working. I’ve been very impressed!’
The winning team will now go on to represent the school at a regional business awards competition!
